i am so sorry for your loss - here at sea house we are about to face losing our own tortie girl to old age .... your girl was a real beauty gentle hugs to you t x
so sorry to hear about your beautiful cat , as you know we love cats too , and we have not found one of ours now for over a month , thinking of you love Helen XXX
That is so sad we become so attached to them don't we. I do not know how you cope hurtling from one mishap to another that seem to find you and hit you full on
So sorry about your loss I dread the day when my beautiful ginger tom leaves us as he's 16. They are like children to us and it can be heartbreaking. But I'm sure Maudey had a happy life and was lucky to have shared it with you. Pene x
oh Sairer I am so sorry for you and the passing of sweetest Maude. It is so hard to bear.I still miss my Cleo, such a gentle soul who was seventeen when she died.We have had twelve cats in twenty six years of marriage and they were all unwanted, stray or uninvited but have given us all such comfort and pleasure over the years.Am sending you a big hug and a bucketful of good fortune which you most certainly deserve.Love Anne x
What a beautiful girl - I adore fluffy cats. You were so lucky to have been allowed to share her life. I'm sure you made her very happy - she certainly looks like a contented cat in your photos. (((hugs)))
I am so sorry to hear that you lost dear Maude. I love that picture, she looks such a sweet cat. Poor you, first the chickens, now your darling cat. Look after yourself.
It's soo sad when they go... I know how you feel. Maude had a wonderful life, I'm sure. These little furry things, they can really break your heart. Hugs. Bobbi
So sorry you are parted from your beautiful cat Maudey.I feel for you so much having experienced the loss of a much loved pet myself. I truly believe that animals have souls and we will be reunited with them one day. Big hugs :o)
Oh no, I missed this. So sorry to hear about Maud. :-(
I was wondering if you could do me a huge favour actually. I'm holding a charity raffle over on my blog next Sunday with the prize being a really lovely 1930s eiderdown. I'm wondering if you would be so kind as to mention it or just add my button to your side bar?
Oh, Sairer, I am so very sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful girl & I hope your happy memories comfort you in the days ahead.
I hope Basil is holding up okay. . . it must be so confusing for cats when their brother or sister leaves. I know when my beloved ginger kitty Jasper passed away 16 months ago (one week before his 17th birthday) from old age due to complications of diabetes, our other cat George, a 15 year old tabby, had quite a reaction. For the 1st week he just sat on the ledge of a small window by the front door, staring out for hours and hours at a time. He barely ate, and he began howling a lot. It took him months to create a new normal for himself.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and life through your lovely blog. I wish I could give you (and Basil) a big hug!
