My 15 minutes of fame..

Whilst I'm hunting around high and low for a hospital letter with an appointment date and time on (Bella has eaten it I'm sure) I thought you might like a peek at this interview I did for US eBay's online magazine 'The inside source' back in October, which was published this month.

My original vintage Pex chicken sign from the USA

http://vintageindie.typepad.com/vintage_indie/2009/01/although-our-kitchen-is-absolutely--tiny-and-really-only-temporary-its-one-of-my-favourite-roomsit-is--split-into-tw.html

I know the photos are a little old now, been and seen sort of thing, but I was quite chuffed That Marni used the whole interview, just adapting my English waffle for US readers.
My wish list on eBay gets longer and longer, I'm sure my house would be cleaner if eBay, blogging and Flikr didn't exist!

What's on your wish list?..eBay or otherwise.

Ooh and I've done this thing with comments so you and I can reply to each other on the actual post..much better!
cheerio for now x

    1. Oooh I love goats, especially pigmy ones.My sister had a big one and a little one, the little one was really sweet but the big one scared the life out of me doing 'wall of death' type circuits because I wouldnt let it out the stable! He didnt like dogs either and constantly headbutted her poor old labrador..yes,little ones are much nicer. Well done on getting some bargain scales Denise, dont the prices vary? x

  3. I would just like to have all the contents of your house shipped over to my house. That I think would be my wish list. Especially the spotty casserole/pot/pan I spotted on your stove.

    1. Does that include the dust and spiderwebs aswell? :)

I love that spotty pot too but alas it is now a 'fruit bowl' as I smashed the lid!

  7. I think my wish list would be to live in your house! It looks so gorgeous, homely and welcoming, and it was a lovely article. I'm after a set of yellow Bristolware ceramic kitchen containers and have been for years. The odd one comes up, and I have a sugar one, but I'd love a complete set. I do love an eBay bargain!

  9. Your house is fab and should be featured in a magazine! My wishwish includes a Singer table, vintage seaside memorbilia, a red fire bucket and a stained glass surround for my front door (cheap, of course!).

    1. Thanks Nadine! I've been asked a few times about a magazine feature but believe me with two Labradors in the house,it hasn't looked that clean and tidy in a very long time!!

Hmmm! what have I been looking for lately, being that I am now sick to death of 'Keep calm and carry on' signs and union jack flags...we have been doing that look forever now havn't we Eek! so I am trying to look for something a little different and retro trash seems to be featuring alot in my life...the sheer cute ugliness of it all, I love, although don't tell anyone I said so ha ha! ;)

    Love Happy xx

      LOVE retro trash stuff.
It makes me smile if I point something fabulously tacky out and the person I'm with uses the word 'hideous'! x

  12. Lets see. Well Ive just won a vintage kenwood chef, something Ive been wanting for a while now. I too would love old shop display cabinet for my fabrics & more sewing feet for my old bernina. Im always eyeing up those retro kitchen larder cupboards with the drop down door, but alas Ive no room for one.
