Isn't it amazing what you can find on Youtube?
This beautiful piece of animation was inspired by an interview with my niece...they are her words but not her voice...I think it's just stunning...

I have stayed in one as a very young girl, in Dymchurch. How we all managed to sleep in it, there was my parents and my godparents and me!

What a very brave post. It must all still be so raw. She sounds like she was a very special and brave little person. Thank-you for letting us share a little of that. t.x

Absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI couldnt hear the tribute for Josie as the sound on my computer is not working at the moment, but I will come by another time and listen.
ReplyDeleteI dont know if I have commented on your blog before, but I wanted to tell you that it is very nice. Your house looks so very English, just how I am trying to make mine here in Canada. My favorite magazine is The English Home, which for some reason is on almost every magazine stand here now. That is a new thing. it seems as if anything English is becoming very popular here. It could be the success of the show Location Location Location and now there is the Unsellables by Sophie Allsopp gaining popularity as well.
Loved the caravans. I have a little one that I inherited from my mom this summer. Your post has given me inspiration for its makeover next summer. Right now it is looking a little out of place sitting on the driveway in our even present rain.
Thanks for the great posts, I'll stop by again.
Such a moving and beautiful piece that will touch the hearts of all who see it. Moved me to tears...it's so poignant xx
